My bad if I'm a little late (especially for a two-in-one), but who's the cool parent to you, Peony? And which of your ghostly buds do you like more, Papa Max or old bestie Sectonia? (Good luck on bringing them back btw! At least I believe you can do it! :D
"No, seriously, though... both my mom and dad are so cool, and Granddad and Miss Sectonia are the absolute best. I guess it's one of those things where it's not really a competition for me? They're each cherished by me in their own individual way. Mom’s so tough and smart. She has an answer to EVERYTHING, and she never lets anyone mess with her! But my dad is super brave and knows all the best stories… and he’s smart, too! Every bit as much as mom is! Just in a different way. The two of them have taught me everything I know. Granddad spoils me and tells the best jokes and loves to play games. But Miss Sectonia is always looking out for me and says the nicest things. She seems scary when you first meet her, but once you get her to warm up she’s the most caring person you’ll know. Which… um, I guess might sound strange to the people who knew Granddad and Sectonia when they were sick, but they’re alright now, so everybody has to be nice to them! They’re my family, too, and that’s why I’m working so hard to make sure they’ll eventually be allowed to live the lives they deserve. Thank you for the well wishes regarding that."
Ohhhh Peony, I can't help but feel you're simplifying this a little. I would not, in fact, describe Sectonia, even uncorrupted, as 'the most caring person you know.' With or without an ancient artifact actively flanderizing her personality she's a bit of a mean-spirited, self-centered bitch. She's just chosen to take you specifically under her wing because you're your father's daughter and you remind her of her younger, more reckless self. You are the exception not the rule. 😭
Same goes for Granddad. Dude's also still kind of goddamn weird. Your mother, in fact, would be the first person to state that.
I'm glad you're so loved and have so much love for your family, though. I'm sure your mom, dad, granddad and the unexplained scary woman who aimlessly follows your father around appreciate it.

My anxiousness has been good for something. Say hello to Bucky and Sam.
For Bucky I chose poppies because it’s my favorite but also because of the significance to service members. He was a POW and considered missing in action, laying his life down for his country. The red poppy is a sign of remembrance for all of those who have their life in service. It first came about after WWI with the poem In Flanders Field.
For Sam I chose the sky pilot flower. That’s pretty self explanatory. I also liked the contrast of the blues/purples with his wings. I am thinking of adding a filler flower peeking out from the wings.
For Steve I am thinking sunflowers (loyalty and longevity) and/or blue violets (trustworthiness and intuition).
And Natasha will get either a peony (regret/apology -for wanting to wipe the red out of her ledger and make good), dahlia (grace, inner strength, dignity), or widows pin cushion (I honestly just thought these looked cool and are often a symbol of death)

@kiarasflowr put together these questions for all of us to get to know each other 😌✨
what’s your favorite kind of weather? what do you like to do during that weather?
my favourite kind of weather is when you wake up and it’s brisk but the day and nights are warm. those are the days when you slap on sunscreen and get in the car and rive to the beach and stay there all day, come home have a shower and a nap and then get ready to go out. I literally love days like that
what’s your favorite scent of candle? perfume?
I loveeee lychee legit my favourite smell. I also have a pink lemonade candle I swear by, otherwise vanilla is always good. I have the Beyonce heat perfume and it’s honestly so nice
do you have a favorite flower? what is it? do you know the meaning and it is important to you?
I aint much of a flower girl tbh but I think I like peonies?? they’re like roses but way less cliche.
if you could get any tattoo you wanted what would it be? why? where would you get it?
when I go live overseas I want to get like a compass or a globe with a plane flying around it to remind me of my adventures and that im always headed where I need to be at the right time.
do you have a favorite poem? why is it your favorite?
my favourite poem is In Flander’s Fields. it's about the First World War and it makes me cry every time I read it
what’s your favorite color and what things or feelings does it remind you of or make you feel?
like a pale pink- it just makes me feel neat and dainty and sweet and I think it suits my complexion the best
what vibes do you get from me? what song or color do i remind you of?
I get like chill vibes but like really excitable or passionate when certain situations require it. I think you’re really sweet but not afraid to cut the shit and put someone in their place if it needs to be done. you remind me of purple and yellow, and a song that reminds me of you is better by khalid
what’s on your bucket list? if you could only choose one thing to do before you die what would it be?
on my bucket list is so many things but basically to travel and take as many experiences as possible, but I think I would like to try skydiving even thought it terrifies me but if I could do one thing before I die I would choose to hug my mum 🥺 I love her the most ahahah
if you could have only one wish what would it be?
to find happiness more often :)
do you believe in the paranormal? ever had an experience?
yes. not in like the creepy, haunting way (well not all the time, my work is haunted and ive been there late at night by myself and I will stand by that statement) but in a spirits are with us kinda way. I can feel my grandma with me sometimes, either like overwhelming moments or ill see something and I just know its her and I know what to do in that situation etc.
do you or have you ever gotten high? what was it like for you?
nooo I'm not a drugs person, but I wouldn't be opposed to trying. I know what it’s like when im drunk, but just completely content and not caring and calm and I feel like it would feel like that- just no inhibitions or cares in the world, just freedom.
this was really fun to do and I'd love for all these people to try so I can learn more about you :)

Stuck for a gift? Follow our Galentines guide & treat yourself, too!
Here at The Perfume Society, we’re all about celebrating Galentines – it’s a word we first saw popping up last year, but do you know what it signifies?
Well, January seemed about seventy three days long, everyone we know has had (or is still recovering from) ‘flu and just about all of our gal-pals have been having a really difficult time of it, lately.
Feel the same?
We thought it was about time to treat ourselves to something nice – and to show our best gal-pals how much they mean to us (at what can be a very difficult time of year for those struggling with depression or just trying their best to keep on top of things!) So forget V-Day for a while and celebrate ‘Galentines’ with us.
Why not have a look through these top picks and see if there’s a sweet treat you could surprise someone special with, or give yourself something to look forward to? Showing someone you care, adding a simple note saying ‘hey there, thinking of you’ – and being kind to yourself – can mean a lot, and we think these would make great gift ideas or pick-me-up presents for any time of year…
REEK is the house to head for when seeking gifts for those perfume-loving pals who definitely want to stand out from the crowd. Proudly promoting positive body images for women (none of their photos are re-touched to make the models look unnaturally ‘perfect’) the fragrances celebrate rebellious women through history. Choose from Damn Rebel Bitches or Damn Rebel Witches (we’re loving the names, the ‘fumes and the attitude!) and celebrate the fact that for all orders over £50 between now and V-Day, they’ll throw in a free gift card and a free mini ‘Love Potion’ tote bag. Order this and some of their fab stickers to treat your best witch bitch!
REEK Witch Bitch Set £45 for 2 x 7.5ml eau de parfum Buy it at reekperfume.com
As the old saying goes – if you don’t love yourself, who else will? Everyone deserves a little luxury now and again, and we believe our Treat Yourself Discovery Box is ideal for anyone (yourself included) who needs a little extra TLC right now. The power of perfume to transport you is well documented, so why not fly away on a fragrant cloud to the tranquillity of a deserted beach, a vista of Moroccan orange blossom trees, the fragrant imaginings of two perfumers’ translating literature into scents, a field of lavender and a ground-breaking house inspired by the most intelligent women in the world? And that doesn’t even nearly cover the treats in store! From cult niche to designer opulence, your ultimate escape beckons…
Treat Yourself Discovery Box from £15 Buy it from our online shop
Izia launched last year, and immediately scored a hit for those seeking a scent that straddles the gap ‘between pretty and impertinent” as Sisley put it. Rose but not as you know it, this manages to be both pretty and uplifting with a carefree, bohemian edge. To celebrate their one-year anniversary, Sisley turned to the rock-n-roll style of British artist Quentin Jones for a whole new spin on the packaging. This limited edition features fluorescent ink, rose collages and paint flecks for vibrant pops of colour contrasted with the luminescent, sparkling cheerfulness of that rosy juice. If you know a Sisley-addict (and there are many) or someone who adores rose perfumes but can’t abide dustiness, this is guaranteed to brighten their whole year.
Sisley Izia £95 for 50ml eau de parfum Buy it at houseoffraser.co.uk
When everything seems dark and gloomy, there’s nothing like lighting up your life with a box of perfume that’s simply bursting with exotic blossoms. Not sure what your friend’s favourite floral is, or want to branch-out and try some flower-filled scents for yourself? Cochine‘s discovery set is the perfect choice. A trio of fragrances inspired by the beautiful location of Saigon (where founder Kate Crofton-Atkins was tempted to move after quitting her high-powered beauty job in London – and who can blame her?) there’s the delights of White Jasmine & Gardenia, Vietnamese Rose & Delentii and Tuberose & Wild Fig to revel in. Great size for travelling or popping in your purse, too!
Cochine Floral Collection £35 for 3 x 8ml eau de parfum Buy it from our online shop
Sarah Jessica Parker turned the world of celebrity fragrances on its head with the release of Stash, which converted many niche-only perfumistas into full-on fans of the scent. The second of the opus – Stash Unspoken – is an exquisitely werable plunge into prettiness with an edge, featuring pink peppercorns and the honeyed addictiveness of quince atop a floral heart that feels like twirling in a tulle gown: wisteria, honeysuckle and peony entwine with the rich almond-y muskiness of the base (and a hint of woozy booziness to reel you right in.) Fans of Sex and the City, fashion-mavens and fragrance lovers alike will thank you for this addition to their wardrobe, and at a very purse-friendly price.
SJP Stash Unspoken £25 for 100ml eau de parfum Buy it at superdrug.com
What if your gal-pal is miles away? We have a few best friends who live abroad and it can be really tricky sending presents via air-mail, so a great idea you can send and she can receive immediately is an International Online Subscription for our award-winning magazine dedicated to perfume: The Scented Letter. Solving a myriad last-minute present problems, it’s bursting with our reviews of all the latest launches your nose needs to know, exclusive interviews with the world’s best perfumers, full-length (and gorgeously illustrated) features on ingredients, the history of the perfume houses, trends and fascinating peeks behind-the-scenes. And the best bit? It’s eight 48-page digital editions a year, so really is the gift that keeps on giving!
The Scented Letter Magazine International Online Subscription £20
A lovely name for a really beautiful fragrance, Precious One is a bewitching blend of soaring fleur des nuits, tuberose and jasmine on the softest green chypre base of oak moss and layers of smoky vetiver swirling from the depths. Awarded Best New Independent Fragrance in 2012 by the Fragrance Foundation UK, Angela Flanders was the most wonderful British perfumer – a vibrant character who sadly passed away in 2016 – and this perfume was created for her daughter Kate Evans’s Precious boutique (also nearby in Spitalfields). A great way to to tell your friend how special they are to you, and now available in this handy travel-size.
Angela Flanders Precious One £28 for 10ml eau de parfum Buy it from angelaflanders-perfumer.com
Okay so perhaps you can’t jet-off to Bali with your bestie, but how about arranging a weekend away or even a spa-day to enjoy together? We also suggest treating both of you to the Try Before You Fly Discovery Box (pssst! Grab it at the sale price while you can!) bulging even more than our handluggage usually is with all manner of scented delights. Close your eyes and think: tanned skin and flowers in your hair with soft bouquets from Miu Miu, Jimmy Choo and Barbour. Take in the sights of stylish Scandinavia with Agonist or sip espresso on the piazza with The Merchant of Venice, among the many specially curated scents in this selection. Have a look for some special last-minute deals to escape the gloom or book-ahead and dream of holidays to come…
Try Before You Fly Discovery Box from £10 Buy it from our online shop
There are few people who don’t appreciate the gift of a gloriously scented candle – and you don’t even have to know their favourite fragrances to pick one they’ll love (though we’d hope you at least know your best friend’s fave!) If you’re a trio of gal pals, why not have a splurge and treat all three of you to a Diptyque mini candle? This set features Baies – still their best selling candle – with its bouquet of roses and blackcurrant leaves, Figuier – comfortingly warm fig wood, the freshness of leaves and milky sap, and Roses – baskets of roses overflowing with abundance. Each mini candle is 70g and handily portable for travellers who crave their scented spaces. Which one would you choose?
Diptyque Mini Candles Set £65 for 3 x 70g candles (also avaiable separately and in other fragrances for £24) Buy it at diptyqueparis.co.uk
Still searching for a gift?
If you know your friend’s favourite fragrance and want to treat them to something new (but are worried about getting something they don’t like) never fear! We have a genius solution. Simply type the name of their signature scent into our clever database, FR.eD (short for Fragrance Editor) and you’ll be given several suggestions based on fragrances with similar characters, shared notes or styles they’re bound to love. It really works! Give it a try, now, and find your perfect fragrance match…

Plan Your Spring Garden
A large portion of the enjoyment of spring is anticipating it. So as you put your garden to bed this fall, make strides that can help you through the winter doldrums. Here are a few things to do while you're imagining.
Plant new and clever globules. With a little thinking ahead you can arrange your garden's shading plan for the following four seasons completely with knobs, picking those that naturalize so you don't need to supplant them consistently.
How late would you be able to plant? There are no immovable tenets, however the more you delay, the more outlandish the globules' root framework will grow ideally. You may get sprouts the main season, yet an encore isn't ensured.
Set out to withdraw from the tulip, daffodil and crocus kind, and explore different avenues regarding "incidental globules," the speediest offering classification in numerous nurseries today. Consider:
Magnificence of-the-snow (Chionodoxa). C. gigantean has splendid blue, star-like spring blossoms with fine-finished strappy foliage.
Cape cowslip (Lachenalia). Tubular blooms in spikes on beefy stems. Globules rapidly increase to frame clusters; solid in zones 8 to 10.
Blooming onion (Allium). Splendid wads of shading on exposed stalks. A. thunbergii "Ozawa" blossoms from late summer through ice; in winter bloom heads turn reddish brown red.
Take after nature's lead: dissipate a few seeds. Get a head begin by planting now. In reality, many seeds require a time of icy before they'll grow. Nancy McDonald, overseeing manager of The American Cabin Plant specialist, proposes these determinations:
Flanders poppies (Papaver rhoeas), or corn poppies. They're a secure. The seeds don't should be covered, and once settled, the plants self-sow. Shirley poppies, a strain of P. rhoeas, come in red, fragile pinks, peach and rose, all edged in white.
Panicle larkspur (Consolida regalis ssp. Paniculata). A billow of dainty blue blooms, more fragile than general larkspur.
Foxglove ( Digitalis pupurea). Spikes of pompous blossoms. 'Sutton's Apricot' is a flawless delicate peach.
Columbine (Aquilegia). Nancy's most loved half breed is 'Nora Barlow,' a twofold that crosses to great impact with different columbines in the garden. Brilliant columbine (A. chrysantha) has fragrant, since a long time ago prodded yellow blossoms on an intense, dry spell tolerant plant.
Hollyhock (Alcea). Some biennial, some lasting, hollyhocks come in shades from delicate pastels to rich reds and about dark maroon. Alcea rugosa, a lemon-yellow midsummer developer, is impervious to rust.
Moth mullein (Verbascum blattaria). A biennial that produces white spikes with pale pink markings in its second year, wonderful rosettes the first.
Dianthus. 'Sublime Pink' and the Flawlessness cross breeds (Dianthus superbus or related species) are the absolute most sweetly scented decisions around.
Give biennials and perennials a promising start. Plant peonies, foxgloves, sweet William, Canterbury ringers and pansies, and let their underlying foundations get set up. You can plant holder developed plants as long as the ground isn't solidified. Mulch well. North of zone 6, hold up till spring to plant uncovered root perennials. In the profound South and Southwest, plant cool-season annuals, for example, larkspurs, poppies and love-in-a-fog for winter sprout.
Include a garden trimming. Regardless of whether it's a little stone frog, a looking globe or a bamboo water woodwind, the complement will add new measurement to the garden and liven up the winter scene too. Throughout the years, the approach of ice confirmation cement and chip-evidence glazings, alongside an enormous choice and assortment in frame, has made outside craftsmanship well known. Nowadays you can even request a Putto — a happy winged kid with water-gushing dolphin — coordinate from Italy. Says Andy Brinkley, who creates copper decorations and twig dovecotes in his North Carolina studio, "Individuals who like cultivating more often than not likewise have an enthusiasm for workmanship."
Send away for indexes. Far reaching inventories will supply you with amazing plants for spring and garden perusing to get you however the year's most brief, darkest days.
Garden practically. Indeed, even in the dead of winter, planting is as close as your PC. On the Web, you can collective with kindred fans, search for knobs from Holland or impression faraway patio nurseries.
Plan for more bright winters. Without a doubt, you're yearning for spring — however bear in mind that the winter cultivate has its own particular charms. Plant now to make fervor next winter. The old standby hollies and nandinas deliver berries, obviously, yet different trees and bushes give winter enthusiasm too. The Japanese blooming apricot (prunus mume) puts out its pale rose blossoms at that point. The linden viburnum's red berries persevere. Witch hazels blossom on exposed branches in late winter.
Also, there are bark, surface and frame to consider. In zones 5 through 7, stewartias create kaleidoscopic shedding bark that lights up a boring scene. Their white camellialike summer blooms and splendid fall foliage make them radiant four-season examples.
Not at all like herbaceous plants, woody bushes and trees can be planted well into winter in regions of the nation where the ground is not solidified. Better root advancement happens with prior planting, however.

Jemy Flanders is a freak of a man. Let me explain to you why.:
He's an Amnesiac. He remembers nothing except the fact that someone slit his throat and now he'd undead.
Washed up on a beach and just. fucked around for 2 years as a petty thief.
Met his bestie, Florence, an orange dragonborn cleric.
Finally, after 2 years of petty theft, got CAUGHT but instead of rotting away as an undead man in prison for the rest of his life, was given an offer by the person he stole from.
That person was Peony Flanders, who offered him to work for her and pretend to be her father.
And the reason that Peony Flanders wanted this random ass guy to pretend to be her dad? Well, he kinda looks like him, and her real dad got drafted into the war before she was born. Plus having a 'fake dad' would allow her to get up to shenanigans while her dad handled the more 'social' aspects of her noble house.
So this guy, pretends to be some noble girl's father. Whose real father COULD still be out there.
And then on the night of Peony's 20th birthday, there's an assassination attempt on the whole house and so Jemy and Peony, along with others get teleported to the Fantasy version of the Wild West.
Then a few days later, Jemy finds out that he may not be human, that he may, in fact, be an aasimar. Like any reasonable person, he tests this by seeing what type of blood he bleeds (spoiler, his blood sparkles like an aasimar).
He then, after a few days of sorting that out, tries to see if he can access any of his aasimar traits, only to learn that there's some sort of infernal block on him preventing any transformation.
Subsequently, while trying to save the inhabitants of a town, finds out that in his previous life was a devout follower of Argenta.
He finds out the above fact, by stealing a magical talking sword from a baddie. A sword that only glows when devout followers of Argenta hold it.
That magical talking sword gives him therapy.
And that doesn't cover the little things like his habit of sniffing the air to try to locate people, his preference to sleep in a chair over a bed, or the fact that he went on a 10+ minute rant with a full murder board about his conspiracies on everything that's happening in the world at large.
He still doesn't even remember his own fucking name. He's a freak.
